RuneScape can create a fantastic idle game

  • Osborne recently made it clear on LinkedIn that he's decided to leave Jagex after fifteen years of editing content in narrative design, design, and lead design. It's a choice he made as he explains with RS Gold, to "test [his] experience within the field." Osborne is leaving Jagex and is going straight to Square Enix on the publishing side, where he will be a Senior Designer. He'll be in charge of "some wonderful games" beginning with Outriders.

This information prompted Redditor FatNWackyRS to reach out to members of r/Outriders with an easy message on Mod Osborne who he describes as the "warm, friendly "Dad" face of Jagex." FatNWackyRS describes the many things that Osborne has done for the community over the years, including some clips, like appearing as Mod Elfborne to promote Prifddinas (an Elf City in Runescape) in livestreams, joining and assisting with the company's vision.

Many gamers or communities would be upset about the loss of a well-known brand, FatNWackyRS invited other Runescape players to share their experiences. One participant, for instance, states that they feel they've had to win and lose, as someone who plays simultaneously in Runescape together with Outriders. Other players were delighted by the announcement, and some even have never had a conversation with Osborne prior to this glowing endorsement by one of the Runescape community.

What exactly will transpire on his portion of Outriders fence is yet to be determined, however fans know a lot of good things are coming towards the field. Outriders' Worldslayer expansion is scheduled to be announced in the spring, and is scheduled to release for this year, and beyond that, People Can Fly has a variety of other projects under development, including a brand new game with Square Enix. If Osborne will be involved with the project, it remains to be confirmed.

FatNWackyRS concludes his post by sending a simple, heartwarming message to Osborne should he happen to see it: A thank you for everything he's accomplished for Runescape and warm wishes for his tenure at Square Enix. "We cherish you, will be missing you, and we send you the very best of luck in all the exciting adventures with Square Enix," the Redditor wrote for the RS community.

Thanks to my 2006 diary which I have compiled, I am able to confidently say that I walked my first steps in Gielinor - RuneScape's setting - on the 29th of April that year. The younger Lottie wrote about the fact that RuneScape seemed to be pretty great thanks to its awesome map before going on a tirade about how she couldn't find the last episode of Neon Genesis Evangelion on what I'm guessing was a legal website. I'm curious to know what she would have written had she known RuneScape would become a mainstay on her collection of gaming games with Buy OSRS Gold.
