Madden 21 next-generation player sports: upgrade or downgrade?

  • The biggest difference between Madden 21 on PlayStation 5 and the current version is the player movement. The visual effects and appearance are almost the same, and the mode is no different from that of Madden 21 Coins. It's all related to the gameplay, I'm not sure whether to upgrade or downgrade.

This is a good sign that EA has implemented features designed to provide more realism in Madden gameplay. The new sports engine should provide faster and smaller players with a different feel than bigger and slower players. This can be achieved, but at some point the route is not the smoothest.

Sometimes, when the action does not respond, the controller command does not seem to be displayed on the screen with the best animation.

For example, if I try to cut in or change direction with the player faster than a human (or at least too fast for the guy I control), then it would be ideal to provide a screen animation that represents the player's intent to react. For example, human endings or paused animations that match human behavior in these situations.

In the next-generation Madden 21 version, these instances often encounter controller resistance or slow-running slow motion, which is more frustrating than the actual situation. I like the realism in sports games, but it would be better to convey these restrictions in the way of MUT 21 Coins.
