MyTEAM in NBA 2K21 can be transferred to the next generation

  • 2K has confirmed that any progress made in the MyTEAM mode of NBA 2K21 on the current system can also be transferred to the next generation of game consoles. Players can use NBA 2K21 MT to complete their own challenges without any hesitation.

The "entire" balance of your VC (predictably, representing virtual currency) will also be transferred, as well as "MyTEAM points, ATM cards and tokens".

2K said in a press release: "In NBA 2K21, your entire MyTEAM collection and progress will seamlessly continue from PS4 to PS5, from Xbox One to Xbox Series X, so you can enjoy MyTEAM uninterrupted throughout the year.

"Starting to use the current generation of NBA 2K21 from September 4th, when you upgrade to the next generation of NBA 2K21, all your VC, MyTEAM points, ATM card and token balances will appear later this year."

NBA 2K21 will be released on Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on September 4. It can also be used on PS5 and Xbox Series X. Publisher Take-Two Interactive recently had to defend its decision to charge $10/£10 for games on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X.

Take-Two boss Strauss Zelnick said the purpose of the price increase is to "reflect the quality of the experience" and this is a very moderate price change." He later added in an investor conference call that the price of the next-generation game will still be determined on a "title-by-title" principle, indicating that not every "Take-Two" release will see the same increase.

The price increase of games is a very common thing, but this should not affect the interest of most players in the game. NBA 2K has been constantly updated and improved to give players a better experience, and players can Buy MT. It is a great experience to maximize your skills!
